A few suggestions: More trays would be handy (similar to the one the toaster sits on) A smaller mixing bowl Laundry basket Champagne flutes Apart from that, great! Will definitely be back

  • "We were extremely disappointed and upset to arrive at the property and find that it was very dirty in several areas."

We sent photos to the owner and to Sykes. This resulted in the cleaning company being contacted. A manager arrived and did his best in the kitchen and stated they would return the next afternoon to deep clean the property. This was not the start to our holiday we expected. We requested some form of compensation for the upset and inconvenience, but nothing has been offered. The property itself is very spacious and has most things needed for your stay. It is in a good area, close to the coastal walks and beaches also good network of roads to go further afield. Such a shame it was dirty on arrival.

  • "Everything was fine, but the double bed was not to our satisfaction."

It was horrible. Thin matras onto a hard wooden floor. The cottage was well equiped, bathroom ok, kitchen in fine order, nice tc. Tip: take your on bathmat , there isn't one in the cottage. (Slippery shower)

  • "The property is excellent with a very good layout and large spacious rooms."

A little bit remote for some people but it suited us and although on a small estate it is very quiet. Very good property.

  • "Garden isn't securely fenced like in the photos."

Didn't realise from the listing just how far from Roch shop and pub the cottage was, definitely couldn't walk anywhere from property. Facilities inside property were fantastic, great selection of cooking equipment, comfy beds and sofas, large Tv, hot high pressure shower. If I was been really fussy a tumble dryer would have been a great addition.

  • "A lovely cottage that soon felt like a home from home."

However we were disappointed to find the lounge area had not been cleaned. There was milk on the floor under the table and hair and crumbs around the sofas. Attention had obviously been given to the kitchen, bathrooms and beds which had all been cleaned/changed. We had a great time in Pembrokeshire and would definitely be visiting again.

  • "Great location in a quiet place Accommodation as we expected and as there was only two of us we managed with having only one bathroom."

Lovely to be able to stay for only 4 nights when a lot of places state a minimum of 7 nights. We were not impressed finding the sitting area had not been cleaned despite a note from the cleaner stating cleaning had taken place two days prior to our stay. We did contact the owner and shared what we had found ie crumbs on chairs and under table along with human hair, dust on every piece of furniture including the DVD player Lovely wild area in the garden to encourage bees and butterflies but we timed our stay wrong as the grass had not been cut. Due to the length of the lawn it encouraged bees and therefore if a family stayed with small children it would not have been safe to let them on the grass.

  • "We had some difficulty positioning the shower as we wanted it but the cottage was comfortable, quiet and really a home from home."

This was our second visit and can't wait to go back again.

  • "My wife and I rented this property in September."

On arrival we found the property to be clean and easy to operate. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances. There was a fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, all of which worked well. The halogen hob was highly efficient and the electric oven was spotless – always a good sign. The spacious living / dining room had two comfortable settees and chair as well as a table which could comfortably seat six. The bed rooms were relatively spacious with adequate storage. The shower in the bathroom was particularly powerful and there was always plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. There were many features of this property which indicated the care and thought the owners have given to ensure the well being of guests. There is a selection of DVDS and leaflets about things to do in the local area. We enjoyed our visit to south-west Wales immensely, with its opportunities to walk its coastline and explore its many beaches.

  • "We had a lovely holiday, the house was comfortable and suited our needs, though the master bed was a bit creaky and too soft (for my back)."

The house could do with having a tumble dryer or indoor clothes airer - we washed sheets but it rained while we were out and then there wasn't any way to dry them! Would happily stay again in the future. Thanks.

  • "Tlws Bach is a lovely cottage with spacious comfortable accommodation."

The owner has provided everything that might be needed for an enjoyable stay. Communication with the owner and with Sykes was excellent, and our stay was entirely problem free. Big benefits include fast, free wifi (sadly, I need to stay in touch with my office even when I'm on holiday!) and ample parking space - there's even a garage, although we didn't use it. There's a private grassed area at the rear of the cottage with a picnic table. I'm sure it would be pleasant to sit out there in warm weather, but unfortunately it wasn't quite warm enough during our stay. Other bonuses were friendly neighbours and at least two friendly local cats! This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at Tlws Bach, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for pleasant, comfortable accommodation close to the glorious Pembrokeshire coast.

On arrival, everything was spotless and our key collection couldn't have been easier. A huge bonus for us was the garage where we stored our kayak and surfboards on days when we didn't use them.
