A 2 bedroom first floor apartment that sleeps 5. The apartment is on the lovely San Jaime complex in Son Bou, just 5 minutes walk to the beach. The apartment has 2 bedrooms both of which have twin beds and there is a sofabed in the lounge. There is a spacious bathroom with shower and full bath tub. The living room has a flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player. The living room opens out onto a large terrace with table and chairs for al fresco dining. The patio is south facing and enjoys the sun all day,with sunloungers and views out to the beach and sea. There is a BBQ for your use. There is also a well equipped kitchen. The complex has 3 swimming pools and a children's pool. There are tennis courts and a children's playground. There is also a very good restaurant and bar on the complex and a program of evening entertainment in the summer months. The resort of Son Bou in the municipality of Alaior, on the south coast of Menorca, it is renowned for having the biggest and probably best beach on the island. The resort is located around 20 kilometres from the international airport at Mahon. Son Bou is a relatively new modern resort, with a brand new villas and apartments dominating the area. The resort has good amenities, including supermarkets, tourist shops, restaurants, bars and even a disco. However, for more bigger shopping centres you should head to the nearby town of Ciutadella, or into the capital Mahon. Far removed from Menorca's typical 'calas' (coves), the beach at Son Bou stretches out for 2.5 kilometres; dunes and freshwater beds fringe the back of the beach. Towards the Santo Tomas end, there is a nudist beach. There are options for pedalos, canoes, waterskiing and jet skiing.
