Alcobaca, Costa de Prata / Silver Coast
Nearest town is Alcobaca which is 5 minutes drive, it hosts a 12th century monastery, Alcobaca is a large town and has all facilities that would be required including banks, supermarkets, shopping, cafes, restaurants, post offices, sight seeing and medical facilities. Fishing town of Nazare is 25 minutes drive and has many restaurants and shops. The medieval walled village of Obidos is approx 35 mins drive away. This is a great location for touring the Silver Coast, we are close to many great beaches, 25 mins driving to Nazare, 25 mins driving to Sao Martinho do Porto, 30 mins driving to Foz do Arelho and 45 mins to Baleal - all beaches are sandy with many amenities, there are many more fabulous beaches slightly off the beaten track but well worth visiting.
