The apartment is located in the quality residential urbanisation of Riomar 10, Mil Palmeras, in the Costa Blanca. Unlike many Spanish urbanisations, Riomar has an abundance of greenery in its gardens and beautifully maintained pool areas. All of the properties are privately owned, many indeed owned by Spanish people who use Riomar for the occasional weekend or holiday. The urbanisation, pool & playground areas are often quiet, even as we move towards high season. There are also a number of permanent residents and we feel that this also helps raise the standard of the urbanisation.

Riomar is located just 5 minutes walk from a supermarket, bank, pharmacy, internet café and the popular Mil Palmeras strip with a variety of restaurants and bars. Eating out in Spain is still relatively inexpensive. A typical Menu del Dia offers a starter, main course and a drink for €10.
Riomar is situated beside the villages of Mil Palmeras and Torre de la Horadada, both firm favourites as holiday locations with Spaniards. With great weather, a chain of unspoilt beach coves, little local bars and restaurants, it has a real family, community feel. It is also a great base for Golf as it is situated only 10/15 minutes away from several top courses. The major town of Torrevieja is only a short drive away.
