Small apartment in the pretty village of Casoli, 14km from the spa town of Bagni di Lucca. In the hiking area Garfagnana you can enjoy fresh air and long walks. The apartment is only accessible on foot via a small road from the parking area (approximately 200m). In the village there is also a restaurant (reservation required in the off-season and winter time), which is open all year round and serves as a bar, grocery store and Internet access. The ski slopes of Abetone are 15 km away. Near the apartment there are a number of activities: horse-trekking and rafting 12 km, thermal baths 14 km, quad biking 9 km, lake fishing 13km, public swimming pool 14 km. Guided tours of the 'Metato', an ancient building, where chestnuts are dried, in order to extract chestnut flour (from mid-October to mid November). In September and October you can also collect mushrooms and chestnuts. See also ITL166-ITL211. The apartments can be rented out together for groups up to 11 people, since they lie side by side. Each apartment has an independent entrance.
