Pont Royal's origins date from the XIII century. The centre of the village complex in Pont Royal is a short stroll from the villa and has been beautifully designed around a church, in the style of an old Provencal village. The beautiful golf course was designed by Seve Ballesteros and has spectacular views of the Luberon - considered to be one of the top ten courses in France. The villa offers a perfect base to tour the region at any time of the year - avoid the peak time crowds and visit out of season to enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful area.

The domaine of Pont Royal and it's closest village, Mallemort, is located north of Marseille, between the historic cities of Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. Situated in the heart of Provence in the Bouches-du-Rhone in the South East of France, where the river flows into the Mediterranean - in this land between sea and mountains, the climate is wonderful for a visit at any time of the year.

Ideally placed for exploring the Luberon - perched villages, fields of lavender, tiny out of the way restaurants and bars just waiting to be discovered, winding streets with pretty shops and art galleries - we are sure you will soon have your favourite.

The ground floor of the villa is open plan with french doors leading onto the large, sunny terrace and private garden. The living area has comfy seating with TV, DVD player, stereo CD player/radio and i-pod docking station. Free internet access. We have provided a good selection of cd's, dvd's, books, games for all the family plus a large box of duplo (lego) for the children - perfect for taking time out from the sun in this large air conditioned space. The dining area has seating for 8 people. There is also a downstairs toilet with wash hand basin and the entrance hall has a large cupboard with iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, vaccuum cleaner etc and space for hanging coats.

The front twin bedded room has french doors leading to a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking the pool. Large chest of drawers and bedside table for storage. Fan provided.
