Tigmi Mzine is a completely renovated unique house in the heart of the ancient medina of Essaouira, with shops and cafes just minutes away. Tigmi is an ideal base for couples, families or friends from which to explore Essaouira and all its charms Tigmi Mzine (means small house in Berber) has been very carefully designed to take advantage of space, thus creating a beautifully light, spacious, and very comfortable, fully equipped town house with a mix of modern and traditional. Ground floor: Entrance and double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, in traditional tadelakt, and an ample wardrobe. First floor: Two more bedrooms, one double and one twin. Shared bathroom with shower, also in tadelakt, and a shared wardrobe on the landing. Second floor: A wonderfully light and spacious open-plan living-dining-kitchen area with seating for 6 in both the living and dining areas. The kitchen area is well equipped with gas hob, fridge, sink etc.. There is also a open fireplace for those cold, romantic evenings. The unique spiral staircase with glass covered lightwell creates the feeling of space and lightness not only in the living area but throughout the house. Third floor: Delightful sunny private terrace with views of the medina, built-in seating for up to 8 where you can have your breakfast in the sunshine or evening sundowners. Maid service can be provided for, as can tasty home-made Moroccan meals. As the house faces onto a small dead-end street / alleyway there is sometimes noise from the local children who play in the alleyway. However, as it is not a major street it does not have the noise of the crowds, music shops or cars. Essaouira Essaouira is an ideal place to unwind and take life slowly and simply. There are many restaurants and cafes, shops, souks and galleries, sport and leisure activities like surfing, wind-surfing, horse and camel riding, golf, tennis sunbathing and swimming. All this on the door-step of Tigmi Mzine! There is a 100 pound refundable security deposit to pay in cash on arrival. This will be refunded within 7 days, assuming there are no breakages.
