Details of the House

During the Medieval times, it was the tower of a fortress which dominated this valley of the Chianti area, halfway between Siena and Florence. Since then its role changed and has become a particularly charming holiday home. The view it enjoys has become greener with the passing of time because the oak tree woodlands have grown taking over the landscape. The vineyards and cypress trees are another feature of the scenery, famous the world over and the pleasure of photographers and artists. Probably once you reach here you will not want to move but to remain in awe of this panorama, immersed in the cool swimming pool or sipping a good glass of Chianti wine. If, instead, you want to go in search of the many towns spread all over the hills you do not need to travel far: Radda, Gaiole, Siena and many others are only a short distance away. The house has its own fenced-in space where the swimming pool is (10x5, 0.90-2.10m deep)(01/06 – 26/09) which is illuminated and with an outdoor shower. A lawn within the surrounding walls is shared with some other apartments. The accommodation has central heating, air conditioning in the bedrooms, baby bed, hair drier in the bathrooms. A maid, a chef, cookery courses, two extra beds are all available upon request and paid for on location. Car park on the property. ACCOMMODATION: (120 m2) Gr.Fl.: terrace, entrance with fireplace for grilled meals, small sitting room, kitchenette (microwave, toaster, coffee-making machine), 1 bathroom with shower (washing machine). 1st fl.: living/dining room (DVD player) with fireplace, leading outdoors. 2nd fl.: 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with twin beds, 1 single bedroom with a second bed, 1 bathroom with bath/shower.
