Details of the Villa

The villa was designed and constructed to the highest specification and will appeal even to the most discerning client. Unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal. Within a 5 minute walk there are a number of excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. There is also a beauty salon, gift shop, supermarket, dry cleaners and greengrocers. A truly great location. Funchal is only a 10 minute drive away. The huge open plan living/dining area with L-shaped sofas, double height ceilings and wall to wall glass opens out onto the terrace. There is a bar area and feature fireplace with seating area beyond. The dining table seats 8, L-shaped sofas. The luxuriously equipped kitchen has everything you could want. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, coffee machine, breakfast bar and table and chairs for 6 people. Doors out to pool and terrace. The Master bedroom has a super King size bed, dressing area with ample wardrobes, ensuite bathroom and private balcony with sea views. The second bedroom also has a King size bed with ensuite bathroom and sea views The third and fourth bedrooms have twin beds. There is a separate games room with TV and Playstation, leather sofas and beanbags to chill out and a double sofa bed, suited to 1 adult or 2 children.2 The villa is detached and has a large garage and private drive with electric entrance gates. The property impresses immediately as you enter the hallway as the sea views are astounding. Outside is a large decking/terrace area equipped with quality furniture for al fresco dining, sunbathing and relaxing. Swimming pool dimensions and heating? Shape: Rectangular Length: 8m Width: 3m Depth: from 1,20m to 1,40m Pool heating is optional and costs 120,00€ per week for a setting of 24ºC, paid in cash on arrival. A supplement of 30,00€ per week applies for each additional degree up to a maximum of 26ºC Pool heating should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on. A car is not essential if you simply want a relaxing holiday with good restaurants and a large supermarket within a 5 minute walk. There is a bus stop close to the villa and great taxi services if you want to go to Funchal for shopping or for boat trips from the Port. A car is always good if you want to explore the island in more detail. The nearest beach is close by, and is reached by driving (not allowed in the height of the summer), and by a short cable car journey - great fun for the children! The prices advertised from are based on 8 people. A security deposit of 300€ or £300 is payable on arrival in cash. This is returned should there be no breakages or damage to the property. To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. MUNICIPALITY ECOTAX You will be required to pay 1€ per person per night for all guests aged over 18 years old, up to a maximum of 5€ per person. This payment is required in cash at check-in, so please have it ready.
