The village carries the designation of a "ville fleurie" distinguishing it as one of the most beautiful villages in France and is also the only winter sports resort to be classified by the Caisse Nationale des Monuments Historiques, as it dates from the middle ages.
Where exactly is Samoens?
The village of Samoëns is located in the Vallée du Giffre in the Rhone Alps region, part of the Haute Savoie department. The village itself is at 700m, although its gondola takes you to 1600m to the ski slopes.
Samoens is part of the Grand Massif Ski domain which covers 265km of piste.

Chalet Heidi House has two living areas. The first living area is part of the large open plan 2nd floor. It has large comfy sofas, traditional log burning fire, open plan kitchen and dining area. This is the perfect place to unwind after a day of skiing or hiking. The second living area is on the mezzanine floor, this is a bright spacious area with large velux windows, comfy sofas and tv/dvd. This is a perfect place to have quiet time or let the children relax and watch tv/dvds |

There are four bedrooms at Heidi House. Two on the ground floor and two on the mezzanine floor. £double and one twin room. Each room has very comfortable beds, storage areas, side tables and linen/towels. |
