This great one bedroom apartment is located in the residential complex 'Cala Azul' in La Cala de Mijas. This Mediterranean complex has extensive gardens with palm trees, a large pool, a baby pool and a children's playground. This spacious apartment is located on the third floor and has WLAN. In the practical and extremely appealing, air-conditioned dining-cum-living area there is a large corner sofa bed where two people can sleep, a flexible coffee table with wheels, a TV, a CD player and a dining table with four chairs. There is also a separate bright and well-equipped kitchen. The living area leads to a large terrace with a comfortable garden furniture, lounge chairs, comfortable outdoor furniture and parasols. Here you can dine, relax, chat and enjoy the fantastic views of the garden and the pool area as well as the Mediterranean Sea. The bedroom is furnished with a big bed and a fan for the warmer months. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle. Cot and highchair are also available. The toll-free motorway "Mediterranean Highway" (A7), which runs along the entire Spanish Mediterranean coast, connects the residential complex Cala Azul and La Cala de Mijas. There are several footbridges that take you to the beautiful sandy beaches within 10 minutes by foot. The main square with the old watchtower can be reached in just 15 minutes. La Cala de Mijas is a little gem, located east of Marbella and west of Fuengirola. It is centrally located on the coast of the Costa del Sol. The place offers a wonderful, almost village-like atmosphere. Several narrow streets branch off from the main central road leading to the sea, where you will find many shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants. La Cala is very popular with locals and tourists all through the day. Even at the end of the day, this place is still buzzing with activity as people throng to the beach restaurants overlooking the sea. The main square is located right next to the Mediterranean sea and is dominated by the Watchtower "El Torreón" dating back to the 16th century. All important city festivals and summer activities take place here. Not far from here there is a large children's playground, directly on the beach. The coast of La Cala consists of long, clean sandy beaches. You can walk westward up to Riviera del Sol on a wooden beach promenade or eastward to the more rugged areas where you can observe the many kite surfers fill the sky with their colourful kite boards. Further inland, there are several top class golf clubs, so that joggers, cyclists and horse riders can spend the day amid beautiful nature.
