The original 19th century barn of the farmhouse has been restored this quality holiday cottage – Les Hirondelles. Many original features have been retained including exposed stonework and beams. The gîte (cottage in French) has a private terrace and seating area close at hand to take advantage of the impressive views over the countryside of this very special part of southwest France .

This holiday cottage in Labretonie is pet / dog friendly.
Peyrenègre is in the small village of Labretonie, tucked away in the Aquitaine region of South West of France between Bordeaux and Toulouse. It is in the department of the Lot-et-Garonne (named after the two rivers that flow through it) and the nearest main town is Marmande . Labretonie itself is a small village with a mainly farming community. The region is famous for nuts, plums and tomatoes which are grown in profusion around the village.
Here in the Lot-et-Garonne you will find a way of life that has remained largely unchanged for centuries – off the beaten track but with all the themes of French life at hand – farming, food, wine and spirits, art and architecture. We are sure that you will be captivated by the gently rolling scenery, the beautiful buildings, the warm welcome of the people and the climate.
