Each floor has two large bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms, well equipped kitchen, spacious living room and in the case of the ground floor, a separate dining room and guest cloakroom. The amount of space and layout makes it particularly suitable for two families or three generations. It also benefits from a very large covered terrace beside the pool fully furnished for relaxing and dining.

The 10metre pool, surrounding terrace and barbecue are set within a half acre walled and gated plot, with covered parking for two cars and extensive parking for several more. Beyond the terraces the garden is mainly graveled and planted with mature trees and shrubs.

Well behaved dog and/or cats are very welcome (with prior written consent) and will love the freedom to roam round the countryside where they will find plenty of wildlife to chase.

For children of all ages, there is the Vera Water Park, 15 minutes away.

At Garrucha, there are Go Karts. Easy to get to from Las Tortugas without going through the town or via the beach.

At Mojácar, there is horse-riding and water sports. This is a very popular area for walkers and you there are some truly spectacular mountain walks on our doorstep. There are several walking groups and we can put you in touch with them to find one that suits your level of energy, should you prefer to walk with those who know the area.

There are several golf courses locally. The popular (if quite challenging) Valle del Este is literally two minutes away. Desert Springs, Europe's only desert course, is 20 minutes. You can be at the most difficult, Aguilon at San Juan de los Terreros, in 40 minutes. For those who do not want anything quite as exacting, there is Marina de la Torre at Mojácar or the spectacular mountain scenery of Cortijo Grande in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera.

There are two living rooms : The main one has a smart tv with wifi which can receive tv channels from all over the world, and the upstairs one has Spanish tv and dvd player.. The sitting rooms and dining room benefit from log burners for the cooler months. The ground floor also has a separate dining room with a table for 10.

The ground floor kitchen has a Stoves gas range cooker with two ovens and an 8-burner hob (enough for the most enthusiastic chef to prepare a banquet!), dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and many small appliances as well as a whole array of cookware and sufficient crockery, cutlery and glassware for more than 10 people. The upstairs kitchen has a 4-burner gas hob, convection microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, many small appliances, crockery, cutlery and glassware, a reflection of the owner's own passion for cooking!

Bedroom 1 has twin beds usually made up as a king. This room has a large walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2 has a 1.5m bed and ensuite shower room. Both bedrooms are very spacious and have ceiling fans. Bedrooms 3 &4 have two 90cm beds which are made up as doubles if required. Bedroom 3 has two large built-in wardrobes and an ensuite shower room. Bedroom 4 has one large built-in wardrobe and a large family bathroom adjacent.

The en-suite to bedroom 1 has a large walk-in shower, his'n'hers marble topped vanity unit, bidet and wc. Bedroom 2 ensuite has an even larger walk-in shower. Bedroom 3 ensuite has a 80 x 1200mm shower enclosure and the family bathroom has a bath with showre over. Beside the main entrance is a guest cloakroom, avoiding the need to go through the house when using the pool or the outside sitting/dining area.,

Rental Conditions


Prices include bed linens and towels (changed weekly) and beach towels and are for up to 8 people plus two children up to 12 on z-beds in parents' rooms or in second sitting room. Two travel cots for babies up to 2 years are also available.

Prices include a very generous allowance for all utilities depending on season and based on historical figures and any consumption above these allowances is charged at cost. This almost never happens and it is quite complicated to explain as it varies by season (water usage is higher in summer, electricity in winter for example) but full details are available before committing to a booking.

Reservation deposit of 25% of total (minimum eur250) required, by bank transfer. Sterling accepted at prevailing ROX at time of transfer. Balance due 4weeks prior to travel.

Security deposit of eur 500 or sterling equivalent due on arrival before taking possession, refundable after inspection prior to departure.
