The villa is surrounded by terraces on 3 sides with panoramic views of the mountains to the sea.

There are many local attractions within an hour's drive of the villa, including the local beach resorts of Argeles sur Mer, St Cyprien, Canet sur Plage and the northern Spanish beach resorts. The Spanish border located by the motorway (45 mins) A9 would enable you to visit the Dali Museum, located in Figueres. Closer 40 mins the Museum of Modern Art in Ceret. The local sea ports of Collioure, and Port Vendres, Llanca offer many attractions, Villefranche is a walled city in the Conflent Valley with many local products and excellent restaurants:
Each Saturday there is a large market in Ceret selling all manner of local products, ideal for sitting at an outdoor cafe and watching the world go by.
Perpignan is less than an hour's drive with many local attractions, cinemas, ten pin bowling, restaurants, bars, museums, every September there is a Photographic Exhibition.
The Cathar Castles are within two hours as is Carcasonne.
The local Thermal Baths are situated in Amelie les Bains.
