Located just 14km from Florence among unspoilt hills of the Valdarno Valley, this villa in Tuscany is ideal for those looking to enjoy more space and privacy while on holiday together. The restored, traditional country home is separated into two wings and a Casetta - each containing two bedrooms and bathrooms, their own living and dining spaces, and a kitchen. The East Wing is open and inviting, with a sitting room and dining for six. Of the two bedrooms, one provides a charming view of the old mill tower. The South Wing overlooks the picturesque Valdarno Valley and includes a cozy library and an impressive kitchen featuring an original bread oven. Both bedrooms boast views of either the courtyard or Valdarno Mountains. In the courtyard facing the olive grove, the Casetta will delight with its sunny terrace, original Florentine features, and fireplace. The two bedrooms are warmly welcoming, including a double room with terrace access. With this unique layout, each person can spread out to do his or her own thing, then meet for alfresco dinners or dips in the pool. It is on border of San Donato in Collina. There is a regular bus connection to the old town of Florence. The villa rests in the centre of a network of well-connected art and cultural sites. It is surrounded by olive plantations, vineyards and forests and is an ideal place for a restful and cultural holiday. #### Extras This is by no means an exhaustive list, so please contact Oliver's VIP Concierge Team to help you arrange any of those little extras that can really make the difference. - Welcome basket with everything you need for your first breakfast. As well as wine, olive oil of the region, and cheese. - Greeted on arrival and helped to settle into the property. - Catering: A cook is available for €150 + IVA 21% (plus the costs of the shopping) per evening if they need help one evening. The cook comes at 5 p.m to prepare dinner and serves the dinner until time for the dessert. - Children beds are available. Tour 1 : A classical tour suggested for first time visitors with the main monuments. 3 hours private and personalized walking tour. The polical heart with the cityhall palazzo vecchio, signoria Square and the famous old bridge. Tour 2: 2 hour private walking tour - The tour starts from the 'Duomo' area, the religious heart of the city, through the tiny and narrow streets of the medieval quarters. It shows the highlights of Florence, the Signoria Square, the old bridge, St. Croce till the 'Oltrarno' where artesans still work keeping ancient traditions alive. Tour 3: Full day - 6 hours The tour starts with a visit to one of the most important museums with the original Michelangelo's masterpiece the David statue. The guide will take care of the reservation in order to skip the huge waiting lines.After that, there is a walking tour in the religious heart of the city with the baptistery, the cathedral (DUOMO), Giotto's bell tower and Brunelleschi's Dome.After a break for lunch, visit the political heart of the city: Signoria square, old bridge and the inside of the most beautiful church of Florence Santa Croce with Giotto's XIV century frescos and Michelangelo's, Galileo's, Machiavelli's tombs. Tour 4: 3 hour evening or daily tour for curious children. Summer is very hot in Florence, so enjoy the breeze of the evening with an accurate tour of the secrets and legends in this ancient town. The Roman town, the towers, the hidden narrow streets are highlights, especially for children that get bored of seeing monuments or for adults that want to see something different and new.
