The property is on a 1st floor of a beachfront luxury building, with private access to a secluded sandy beach rarely crowded even in summer. The apartment is large and comfortable beautifully decorated with terraces at the front and back where one can relax and have a meal and enjoy the vistas. There are restaurants and bars nearby and ample gardens and wildlife sanctuaries to explore. Sotogrande has wide empty roads throughout ideal for cycling or just walking. There are many world class golf courses close by and excellent and inexpensive shopping. We recommend hiring a car to be able to explore the magnificent cities around such as Gibraltar, Seville 2 hours away, Cadiz one and a half hours away, or Malaga and Ronda 90 mins away. For the more adventurous there are day trips to Tangiers in Morocco well worth a visit. Supermarkets such as Supercor, Mercadona, Lidl and Carrefour can be found close by there are also many local shops selling local produce of an excellent quality and at very good prices. The main visitors to the area are the Spanish closely followed by the British. There is a wealth of local restaurants serving magnificent Spanish food as well as food from around the world and if you enjoy wine the local wineries are full of gems and wine experts are always on hand to advise.
