  • "We had a comfortable and cosy two weeks over Christmas and New year."

We had everything we needed ( were able to cook a full Xmas dinner in the small kitchen area). Our host was welcoming, friendly and very helpful and we are happy to recommend her and Little Lanes.

The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and we enjoyed the amazing view over the hills and seeing the cows in the fields. The bed is very comfortable and the area is very quiet. The property owner is very friendly

  • "Host Sue was very friendly, and the cottage had everything we needed."

Located in a quiet lane, about 5 miles from Boscastle and Tintagel. Just a 5 minute walk to a dog friendly pub.

  • "Property very comfortable & had everything we needed."

My only comment would be that the outside could be more inviting with some of the pots planted up & the white outside table & chair either painted or replaced ( it was green ) . Some improvements have obviously taken place ie bathroom & bedroom. Perhaps the garage area is next which was a bit rough & ready.. Very good situation for exploring the area & loved the presence of the cows .

  • "We had a wonderful holiday at Little Lanes."

The apartment is very clean, comfortable and wonderfully situated. We used it as a base to explore Cornwall. The accommodation is well maintained and contains all that you would need. The washing machine and dryer are a real bonus. Sue made us feel very welcome and was keen to make sure we had all we needed. We will certainly be back again. Thanks Sue xxxx

  • "Lovely and comfortable property."

Loved the cows right outside the kitchen & bedroom window. Perfect for a short stay in Cornwall. Just a short drive to Bostcastle & Carrington Haven.

  • "On arrival the owner was telephoned by us and she arrived minutes afterwards."

Susan introduced herself and showed us around the bungalow, very pleasant lady but not intrusive. The property was extremely clean and we felt at home immediately. Although we enjoyed our stay it is unlikely that we will visit that particular area again. We left refreshed, full of pasties and ready for Christmas. We would recommend Littlelanes without hesitation.

  • "Great place for exploring North Cornwall."

Accommodation was clean and Sue was very welcoming. Nothing was too much bother. Everything was there for basic cooking (needs a measuring jug and better tin opener); bed was comfortable and lovely to have the option of a fold up bed for guests. A sofa would have been nice but the chairs were fine. Heating good and shower room excellent. The only downside for me, personally, was that the garden was not secure. This meant life was stressful with a young pup. Sue said I could use the adjacent field, which was great unless there were cows or sheep in there. Pup loved watching the sheep though!

  • "Very expensive!"

Nowhere to walk the dogs and no secure garden. Cottage basic but spotless and reasonable well equipped. Nice greeting from owner who is VERY helpful

Thank you for taking the time to complete your feedback. The owner does all she can to ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience. There is a nearby 10 acre field which the owner is happy for guests to exercise their dogs in. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at Little Lanes."

The property was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the view from the main room and the bedroom. We did not cook a lot but there was all the basic kitchen utensils to do so. We came with our son (16 years old) and, when we arrived, Sue had kindly prepared the fold up bed where he would sleep. The bathroom looked very new and the shower was powerful - highly appreciated after a long day outside. The location of the cottage gave us plenty of options for a one-week stay, from the beautiful harbour of Boscastle nearby, to the large sandy beaches of Bude and the charming village of Port Isaac. We would definitely recommend Sue's property and hope that we will have the opportunity to stay there again!

  • "Lovely warm welcome from the owner Sue."

Very quiet and comfortable annexe in little village, with amazing views across rolling hills and farmland. Cows come up to the window! Great place to use as base for exploring the North Cornwall and Devon coast.

  • "Accomadation was spot on."

The bedroom and well equipped kitchen looks out over fields and although we went late October the view was stunning. The website picture does not show the garage off right of the picture. This worked out really well. We had 2 dogs that could easily be cleaned off before entering the accomadation thro an internal door. We actually took the dogs out in the field jus thro a gate to the side As a base we travelled the west coast from Clovelly in North Devon to Land’s End. The owner met us and showed us around on arrival Very good week would book again

  • "The cottage was generally very clean and had beautiful views out to the back."

Great location to explore the north Cornwall coast. Sue made us feel very welcome We are possibly unusual in that we cook on holiday and the kitchen here made that difficult - plenty of equipment just minimal space and poor layout. WiFi was also down which was a little irritating.

  • "We had a brilliant week every thing we needed was at hand."

First time I have stayed at a cottage and it was so comfortable to the point we called it home. Shower is the best we have had, bed was so comfortable we slept all night. We were met by the owner Sue and she is a lovely lady. We are hoping to go back with our daughter and her wife. Thank you Sue for a wonderful week

  • "Wonderful view."

We really enjoyed the cows visiting us and also managed to see some wildlife. The location is excellent in terms of visiting sites of interest. We felt very welcome and did not get loads of warnings about our dogs. Other 'dog friendly cottages' have handed us lists of rules regarding the dogs and made us feel like we weren't really that welcome as we had our canine companions with us. There was nothing like that at this cottage.
