Emerald Beach #1 - Solandra

Emerald Beach is a complex of six luxury beachfront villas located in over an acre of landscaped gardens. Each villa presents its own private patios overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

With a combination of both cosy and elegant design, Solandra is an inviting two storey home situated just a few steps away from the lovely Gibbs beach on Barbados' West Coast. Only a few miles south of Speightstown, Solandra is also close to a great selection of delicious restaurants and other amenities.

Guests can enjoy eating al fresco with friends in the sizeable outdoor dining area under a wooden gazebo. One of the best features of this home is that a cook is available every day to make lunch or dinner at your request.

An outdoor lounge provides a lovely relaxation area where you can admire awe-inspiring views over woodland. Guests can retreat here after splashing about in the glistening shared pool. Plush sun loungers are placed around the pool, exclusive to Emerald Beach residents, and an additional lounge on the veranda boasts comfy white sofa chairs.

The three spacious bedrooms feature air-conditioning and ceiling fans, so you will always feel at ease during your holiday. Furthermore, every bedroom boasts its own en-suite bathroom and private balcony or terrace, ensuring all guests can have their well-deserved me time!

Villa Solandra is part of a 6 villas complex located just in frontof Gibbes Beach. There are 3-bedrooms, 3-bathrooms and the villa can host up to 6-people. Guests are invited to use the magnificent communal swimming pool, which is metres from the villa

Location

When visiting Barbados, the first thing you are sure to notice are the gorgeous and renowned flat white sand beaches. On the west coast of Barbados, miles of coral shore beaches and fine white sands stretch along a hypnotising turquoise sea. The West Coast of Barbados is also fringed with countless breath-taking Coral Reefs to provide excellent snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities. The South Coast also offers something for everyone and is a curious mixture of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Here you can swim in calm waters, snorkel over the inshore reefs and tidal pools, and at the southernmost tip of the island, you can windsurf.

The villa is located on the West Coast of the island, which is not only a great area to enjoy the sea, but it also offers the best variety of activities and attractions on the island. Holetown is only 6 km away from the holiday home, so a visit to Barbados' oldest settlement is a must! The town has several attractions of interest. Chattel Village is a combination of quaint and colourful shops with great local products. The picturesque town also includes a variety of bars, restaurants and good snorkelling spots!

Inland Barbados is delightful to explore, enchantingly quiet and rural, there are endless fields of sugar cane dotted with old plantation houses. Within less than 30 minutes driving you can go wildlife spotting at Welchman Hall Gully. This Tropical Forest Reserve is home to wild monkeys and majestic rainforest trees. A visit to this tropical hideaway makes a great day out with the family!

While on Barbados, a taste of the island's rum is a must! The isle has been producing rum for over 350 years, and it is recognised internationally for its quality. Many tours and taster sessions are available at the local distilleries.
