Across the back of the house there is a long covered terrace with sitting areas and sun loungers and by the pool you will find another covered terrace with comfortable loungers for relaxing after a refreshing swim in the large pool. The very discreet owners live in a separate villa on the property.
From everywhere you can enjoy a wide panoramic view over the Chiana Valley with its many beautiful towns and destinations: In addition to the charming town of Monte San Savino (8 km), the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona beckons to the east, 25 km away on the mountain; to the southwest, the wine town of Montepulciano (35 km) and the famous Renaissance town of Pienza (40 km); Arezzo, with its lovely old town and large antique market (every 1st weekend of the month), is only 20 km away and you can also reach Siena, with the most beautiful square in the world, the Piazza del Campo, in less than an hour (50 km). The slightly hilly Chiana Valley with its many small paths and roads is ideal for biking ? a bike path leads along the central Canale Maestro across the valley.
