  • "I knew beforehand that the drainage in the shower was an issue but it had not been fixed meaning all of us had to limit how long we were showering and watching the rising water level in the tray so not ideal, and on our last day the shower didn’t work at all."

Apologies if you experienced an issue with the shower drainage. Our Housekeeping Team have been to check on this and found the trap was clear. We hope you enjoyed your stay. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "We have just come back from a week at St Anton and it was lovely."

The chalet is lovely with such lovely views. Chalet is clean and well stocked kitchen everything you need and a lovely welcoming pack that went down well. All bedding and towels were included. Heaters in all rooms if needed but we didn’t need any except the towel rail when we found the switch. Parking outside the chalet not always possible if people next door are there. A lot of the parking spaces have numbers on although we were told that none were allocated. The sink and shower both drains were very slow to empty. The balcony really needs to be painted and around the balcony needs weeding a lot. But all in all just a lovely week and so nice to be able to sit outside and watch the sea. Would definitely recommend this lovely chalet in such a lovely place.

It's so great to hear your lovely comments about the chalet. The owner is very proactive and maintains it to a good standard. The parking is not allocated and there should be one space per chalet. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "Thank you for a lovely holiday we have booked again."

There are a couple of safety issues which might need attention. The outside light is not working and this made the steps a bit tricky at night. The door lock is jamming when trying to get out. The bathroom sink and shower drain very slowly. Everything else lovely so Thanks again .

Thank you for your feedback. We will attend to the maintenance issues raised. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "Had a great time, the property was just as good as advertised in a great location."

The only downside was when we collected the keys from the key safe the fob to open the entrance gate wasn't there and we had to wait until someone was leaving before we were able to enter the site.

We do apologise that your set of keys didn't have the gate phob. We have reviewed our system to prevent this happening with Sunday arrivals going forward. We hope you enjoyed your stay. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "Very run down, it needs some work doing to it to bring it back to how it should be, just lots of little things like: The front French doors do not work properly, we couldn’t open the right hand one at all, and the left hand one kept getting stuck which was scary The freezer needs defrosting as ice was melting and soaking the food in the fridge and dripping all over the floor The sofa was very very uncomfortable There were cobwebs everywhere on the veranda, these should be cleaned away before people stay A fixing holding a decorative plate failed and smashed the plate on the floor."

It was such a beautiful cottage, it’s such a shame it’s not looked after enough

  • "More accurate details about parking as residents said the bay numbers do relate to the property and St Anton didn't have a numbered bay."

The step area into the property could do with a tidy up as lots of tall weed/ grass in that area.

We have recently contacted the owner to arrange a tidy-up of the external entrance area. The parking spaces are not allocated to individual chalets, and are therefore available on a first-come-first-served basis to both residents and holiday guests. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "Being “picky” it would have been nice to have a full length mirror and unless I missed it to state thst it’s at the top if a very steep hill."

On the positive, it was in a great location and we had an enjoyable stay, thank you

St Anton is located close to the beach and the historic Cobb wall. To reach the beach and chalet in a vehicle does involve driving down Cobb Road, which is a steep hill, but once you have arrived and parked the car, it is possible to walk along Marine Parade (flat walk) to reach the town and beaches.
