  • "The property was reasonably clean and instructions to find it and enter were good."

The parking is secure and there is a lift to get up to the apartment. The apartment is simple and has a nice modern feel and looks like it has been done up recently. Unfortunately it is on the small side and you couldnt really have more than 3 people in it without it being too crowded. There were alot of basic things missing like an Iron, a dustpan and broom, toilet roll, any cleaning items etc. The apartment had bare minimal kitchen equipment which meant it was not really possible to cook anything except for breakfast. The coffee machine supplied was dirty and had used milk and capsules...it smelt very bad. The air conditioning unit kept leaking water so was not usable. The TV in the main living area stopped working several times and needed to be reset but even then the signal was not great, this could have been slow broadband connection or just bad TV reception. Picture quality wasn't great and only freeview was available. The washer/dryer was full of lint and when used has a brunt smell to it, it is rough on clothes and several items I put in came out torn. I was disappointed that the balcony faced houses and sunlight never really enters the apartment, it feels like it is overcast all the time even on a very sunny clear day, this should have been stated on the advert as I would have been very unlikely to book the apartment had I known this. The apartment is in a good location and is only a short work from the main town and several beaches and attractions its just a shame that some basics let it down. Overall, for the price charged this stay was not good value for money and it is very unlikely I would stay here again.

Many thanks for your feedback. We take all feedback seriously as it affects our business. For that reason we would like to make the following comments which I hope you understand as we take care to ensure our apartments are of a very high standard however, we do not know the details of your stay and what facilities each guest personally is used to. The apartment is a spacious one bed and is clearly marketed as sleeping 4 with a sofa bed. The apartment does have an iron and ironing board. We leave one toilet roll to get guests started. There are cleaning cloths and washing up liquid under the kitchen sink. The kitchen has everything you would expect for up to four people and we have made sure that it is well equipped, there is a full saucepan set and plenty of crockery and cutlery we are sorry that this was not sufficient for you - there is also a dishwasher. We are sorry that the coffee machine was not cleaned I am not sure why there were milk capsules in the machine as we do not provide them, they shouldn’t be in the machine in the first place. We provide a pint of milk in the fridge for each guest. I have however reminded the cleaning staff about this. We have had the air conditioning unit and the tumble dryer which are both still under warranty checked and both are fine. The reports suggest user error on both. The apartment has full fibre broadband and as such we are really unsure why the TV was only working intermittently. If there was bad weather it may have been due to this and the main satellite from the providers. The sunlight (when the sun is out) does shine onto the balcony and into the apartment. We have had some quite overcast weather recently but unfortunately we are unable to guarantee the weather. The apartment description does not say that the balcony overlooks the sea and the photographs show that this apartment is on the side of the building. It is however, in an amazing location just minutes walk from the beach. We do have a sea facing apartment available in the same development but because of the uninterrupted views this is more expensive. I am really sorry that it appears we could do nothing right for your stay and we hope that you can find a good value, large apartment with no neighbours, with guaranteed sun and every facility that you need personally.
