The Manoir (sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms) and the Grange (sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms) are nestled on the edge of the charming village of Le Quillio which is listed as one of Brittany's rural heritage village's, situated in a beautiful part of Central Brittany surrounded by delightful countryside but yet only 5 minutes away from Uzel which has all the necessary amenities. Excellent region for beaches/water sports, historical sites, relaxing, cycling and more.

The accommodation is suitable for families with young children through to teenagers or groups of friends looking for something a little bit special. They are furnished with comfort and elegance in mind, a mixture of local antique and modern furniture, making them stylish and supremely comfortable homes in which to relax and unwind. They have been decorated throughout with a traditional French feel, and whilst they offer every modern convenience with everything you would expect to find in your own home including Wi-Fi internet access and UK Satellite TV (freeview), they boast many original features such as exposed beams, stripped floorboards, authentically tiled floors and original open fire place's with wood burning stoves. They offer a unique blend of peace and tranquillity which is ideal for total relaxation and recuperation.

The Manoir and the Grange Gite both have their own private separate garden and outside eating areas, they are not attached and you will not be overlooked in either the private garden areas or properties

The south- facing dining room has a carved French dining table seating up to 10 people with two sets of French doors making it light and airy. It has two large squishy French rococo style armchairs providing a cosy place thumbing through a novel. It leads out onto the (stunning) south facing courtyard and garden areas which has an alfresco dining area including patio furniture and BBQ.

Off the dining room is the comfortable and tranquil living room with three comfy leather chesterfield style settees, matching easy chair, and a delightful wood burning stove set into the original fireplace. It has a TV with satellite ( Freeview) and a DVD player. A good selection of reading materials, board games, DVDs and childrens toys.

The bespoke French style kitchen is full of country charm, hand painted in a pretty pale blue, with a variety of fitted and free standing units. The units are topped with oak worktops providing plenty of counter-top space for fresh meals to be prepared if desired. It is well equipped for fine cooking and more than adequately stocked with china, glassware, cutlery, cooking knives, utensils, pots and pans including several cookbooks. It has all modern appliances including a leisure dual fuel range cooker, microwave, American fridge freezer, combination coffee maker (makes filter, espresso, cappuccino and lattes), dishwasher, toaster and kettle.

All bedrooms are individually designed and styled we have the Family room, Chambre Vert, Chambre Jaune, Chambre Blue and Chambre Rouge.

One twin room located on the ground floor near to the downstairs shower room with double shower cubical, wc and basin. This room has a double bed and a single.

Three bedrooms on the first floor, one with a king-size 4 poster bed, one with two single beds and one with a double bed. Family bathroom also here with bath, wc and basin, and a single shower cubical.

It is a 5 mins drive from the nearest town of Mur-de-Bretagne which has all the necessary amenities including banks, supermarkets,restaurants and shops and about 15-20 mins drive from the medieval tourist towns of Pontivy and Loudeac.

The Manoir is ideally located to access the wonderful coastlines to the north and south of Brittany with some of the best beaches such as Pléneuf-Val-André and Erquy under an hour away. Perros- Guirec, Tregastel and Ploumanach on the pink granite coast are between 1¼ - 1½ hours away. The largest lake in Brittany, Lac de Guerlédan is close by and offers all types of water sports including sailing, water skiing, pedalos, swimming, fishing, boat trips etc as well as sandy beaches and restaurants.

There are plenty of golf courses for the keen golfer. Golf de Rimaison at Pontivy is a 9 hole par 70. The Ajoncs Dor is about 40 minutes drive away and is a 9 hole flat course which overlooks the sea.

A Deposit of 25% of the rental value is payable at the time of making a firm booking.

The balance is payable eight weeks prior to the start date of your holiday. If a booking is made within 8 weeks of the rental period then full payment is required.

A refundable Security Deposit of £300 is payable for the Manoir and £200 for the Grange with the final payment. This will be returned to your bank account at the end of your stay less any damage.

We would strongly recommend that guests take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy covering cancellation, personal belongings, health and public liability as these are not covered by the owners insurance.

A full booking contract detailing all costs and responsibilities will be provided once a provisional booking has been made by e-mail or telephone.

We accept online credit card payments through PayPal as well as payments by internet bank-bank transfer to our UK account or by personal cheque in GBP.
