Details of the Apartment

Set in manicured gardens this is an apartment for those who enjoy their comforts while having a peaceful holiday. The complex is small so the large pool area never feels crowded and children can have fun in the paddling pool.

The apartment is fully air conditioned, has 2 large bedrooms and is furnished in a contemporary style to compliment the cream marble/oak flooring. One of the bedrooms is en suite with a walk in rain-maker shower, toilet, and sink with vanity unit. A 5th Z bed is available free of charge- most suited to a child/young teenager.

The other bedroom has use of the large bathroom,with a jacuzzi bath, shower, toilet bidet and sink with vanity unit. Both bedrooms have orthopaedic zip and link beds which can be configured as king size or singles depending on your needs and the extra z bed can be put up in either bedroom or even the living room.

The small garden at the front has table and chairs and leads into the communal gardens where it is very safe for children to play. It is perfect for summer holidays with friends or family.
The apartment also benefits from an inner courtyard furnished with a mosaic table and chairs and some plants-it provides a cool place to escape to during the heat of the day.Lit by candles it is also a lovely place to eat in the evening.There is a gas BBQ in the courtyard which you can use to cook fish or steaks for dinner.

There living room is spacious with 2 leather sofas, a flat screen TV with DVD/Video player and SKY TV with all the free to air channels. There is a CD player with an iPod docking station.We have lots of adults and childrens dvds and videos to watch and also some games. Sliding glass doors lead onto the garden patio overlooking the landscaped gardens. There is a large dining table and chairs which can extend to seat 8 people.A glass door leads into the inner courtyard which has a mosaic table and chairs and also a gas barbeque-with a few plants it is a tranquil place to escape the heat and eat lunch and at night with candles lighting it is a lovely place to have dinner.

Another glass sliding door leads to the kitchen which is very large and fully equipped from a food processor right down to a hachoir set for chopping your herbs. There is a multi function oven/microwave, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer drier and 2 sinks. The kitchen units are wooden while the counter tops are natural stone. There is a full selection of pot and pans including a wok and plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. A glass door leads from the kitchen and also from the living room into the inner courtyard details above.

Both of the bedrooms have polished oak floors. There are bedside tables and lamps and luxurious headboards for comfortable reading. The beds have orthopaedic mattresses and are zip and link so can be configured as a king or 2 singles. Both beds have luxurious throws and cushions. There are two built in wardrobes in each room including drawer space.

There are large mirrors and the Master bedroom has a wall safe. Sliding doors lead from the bedrooms to a narrow balcony which can be shaded with a manual awning-there is a small table and chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee or a sun downer. Both bedrooms have remote controlled air conditioning units. There are electric shutters to darken the rooms.

There is an en suite bathroom off the Master bedroom. It has cream marble tiles, a walk in rain-maker shower, toilet, and plenty of storage space in the vanity unit including a hair-dryer. The second bathroom is the large family bathroom. There are beautiful blue mosaic tiles, a jacuzzi bath, shower over the bath, toilet, bidet and plenty of storage space in the vanity unit including a shaver socket. Both bathrooms use Jacob Delafon bathroom ceramics and HansGrohe fittings.

Terracos de Tavira is located in Tavira, East Algarve

The apartment is located a 10 minute walk from the centre of Tavira town a gem waiting to be explored with over 30 churches and a castle to discover. Take the mini train or visit the camera obscura to get an overview of the town then explore the narrow cobbled streets and tree lined river banks in your own time taking a break at a pavement cafe to watch the world go by.

There are dozens of bars and restaurants to choose from and free live entertainment in the town square in high season. There are lots of beaches to discover by boat, by train and by car. A highlight is the ferry ride down the river and over to the Ila de Tavira where the pristine blue flag beach stretches for 18km-just walk a few minutes down the beach for your own private piece of paradise.

Tavira town is very family friendly and at night you will see family groups out enjoying themselves.Quick access to the A22 makes visiting the West Algarve easy.We have lots of ideas on our website of places to see and things to do.

Rental Rates

Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

Prices are for the property per week and include linen, towels,beach towels,all utilities,unlimited wifi, end of stay cleaning and air-conditioning. Long term winter rate is available for bookings of 4 weeks or more. This rate is €975 per month and includes utilities but not cleaning(apart from end of stay clean) or laundry which can be arranged at an extra cost.

An extra Z bed is available which is most suited to a child or young teenager-there is no extra charge for this bed.

• A non refundable deposit of 30% is payable at the time of booking and the balance is due 6 weeks before arrival.

• A refundable damage deposit of 200 euros/170 sterling is payable to our agent on arrival and will be refunded before you leave on inspection of the property.

Items such as a cot/high chair are available at a small additional cost from our manager.

Our apartment is licensed by the Camara municipal de Tavira(AL 6477 which means that it has been inspected and complies with all the safety regulations relating to fire,gas,electricity,water etc.
