Details of the Apartment

Comprising of three comfortable bedrooms (1 king, 1 double & 1 single), a spacious lounge area and well equipped kitchen it is ideal for the self catering visitor. Sorry, but due to previous bad experiences we do not take bookings from young single sex groups who do not wish to maintain the quiet environment and respect the property and neighbours. This is not a suitable venue for hen or stag parties. In the warmer months enjoy sitting out in the gardens and admire the spectacular views of the hills above Harlech.
It is within walking distance of a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. A stroll away is Harlech beach, ideal for families with children. Locally there are several other large sandy beaches. Royal St David's golf course is about a 3 minute drive. The area is excellent for walkers of all abilities, either in the heart of Snowdonia or on the Rhinogydd a few miles behind Harlech. For those looking for history there are beautiful castles in the area including the nearby Harlech Castle.
Our ground floor apartment provides easy access ideal for those who are less mobile. The lounge/dining area has plenty of comfortable seating, freeview television, DVD & video player. There is a small selection of videos, DVDs, books, cards, & board games. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge & washing machine. We provide bedding, towels & tea towels, but if you prefer to bring your own we deduct 10% from the rental.

CAR. From the north take the A496 @ Maentwrog & take a right turn (still the A496) after you go through Talsarnau. As you enter lower Harlech the Morfa garage (Texaco) is on the left of the road and immediately opposite this is a right turn into Glan Gors estate.
From the south via Barmouth: Go north on the A496 & about 2 miles after Llanbedr follow the road downhill, past Royal St David's golf course on the left & then over the railway crossing. The Morfa garage is on the right & you turn left into the estate opposite it.
Turn into the large car park on the left & park there. In the far corner there is a path heading in the direction of the school playing field fence. This leads to number 36.
TRAIN. Harlech is on the Cambrian coast line, with some direct connections from Birmingham. Cross the main road, turning to the right. Glan Gors is about 5 minutes walk.
BUS. 38 from Barmouth stops at the front of the estate. There is an express bus (X94) that runs from Wrexham to Barmouth.

Rental rates £260 - £455 per week

Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

25% of the total rental fee is required as a deposit. We hold the required holiday dates open for one week to allow the deposit cheque or bank transfer to arrive. It is then considered as a firm booking and general information regarding the property will be sent out
The remaining amount should be paid by no later than 4 weeks before the date of the holiday rental booking. If the holiday is less than 6 weeks from the booking date then the full amount is payable. When the balance cheque for the is cleared, a key will be sent by post.
We take payment by cheque or direct bank transfer for advance bookings. For late bookings we take direct bank transfer or payment in cash to a neighbour on arrival.
We issue receipts for all cheques or bank transfers received.
Normally the booking is from 3pm on a Saturday until 11am on the last Saturday of the holiday. Please contact us if a different day is better and we will arrange this if other bookings permit.
The rental cost includes bed linen, towels & electricity.
We also do short breaks, min 2 days. Please contact us for prices.
Should you wish to cancel the holiday, if this is more than 8 weeks prior to the due arrival date, we will refund your deposit less a cancellation charge of £15. If the cancellation is less than 8 weeks from the due arrival date then the cancellation charge is £30. If we manage to re-let the property at the same rate for the cancelled period then the cancellation charge will be reduced to
