Details of the House

The house is just one minutes drive up a small steep concrete road to reach the access to the house. Its just a couple of minutes walk up from the resort and beaches, but it is steep. The house is on one level and has a large Lounge/Diner with clear views of the Mediterranean from all windows. There is one double bedroom (with double bed), 2 small private partitioned bedrooms with single beds, 1 Kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle and all utensils, 1 Bathroom with bath/shower, bidet, wc and wash hand basin, small terrace and garden space outside, washing machine in separate building attached to house. The village of La Mamola below the house has all amenities including Bars, Restaurants, Fishmongers, 2 small supermarkets with fresh meat counters, Bakers, Newsagents, Tobacconist, Post Office, Pharmacy, Doctors Surgery, Hardware shop and gift shops. The village is just off the main N340/E15 coastal road so is easily reached from either Almeria airport (45minutes-1hour), Malaga Airport (1½-2hours, Granada Airport (1¼ hours). There are manly local Fiestas take place during the months of June, July and August. Just over an hours drive you can reach Granada and visit the Alhambra Castle or the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada. Access to all of Costa Tropical, Costa Almeria and Costa Del Sol are all reachable by the N340/E15 road.
All linen & towels are provided except for beach towels. The terrace has garden furniture and a small BBQ for you use.

Casa Torre is located in La Mamola, Costa Tropical / Granada

La Mamola is at the Eastern end of The Costa Tropical, closest to Costa Almeria. It is a small Spanish ex-fishing village that has become a very popular holiday resort with beaches sectioned by rock breakers which go out into the sea and a promenade right through the resort. La Mamola is just off the N340 so easy access to the whole coast. The village is very Family friendly and many Spanish visit here from the cities for there holidays. There are bars and restaurants right on the front with outdoor terraces for relaxing in front of the Mediterranean. Almunecar is 45minutes drive and that has a large Friday market and a Water Park for a fun day out. Just after Almunecar is La Herradura which has the Marina del Este, next resort from there is Nerja. Heading towards Almeria in 45minutes is Almerimar marina which has many interesting boats, restaurants and bars for every taste. Heading up a further 15 minutes you will reach the Roquettas del Mar with its large shopping Mall.
