Details of the Cottage

The house is on the "strada di vino", the tourist road map for visiting the wine area's of Piedmonte.

The house is very old, and has 4 floors, starting with the underground cantina (fully stocked with local wines), which has lovely old domed brick ceilings, and brick walls. The ground floor is a open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with a wood burning fire. The first floor has a large double bedroom with a private bathroom. A corridor leading to the next floor, which has a large double bedroom and private bathroom. Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or a family.
It is fully furnished with period pieces, with all kitchen appliances, sheets, towels etc, all you will need to bring is your clothes and personal effects. There is private parking in the courtyard at the rear of the house.


There is a minimum stay of 3 nights. An extra bed is available if required.
A large discount is available for long term rental.

Casa Regina is located 12 K from Asti, in the heart of the Piedmont Region of Italy (Piemonte in Italian). This means foot of the mountains, and it is aptly named, as it is surrounded on 3 sides by the Swiss, Italian and French Alps. We are 55 K from Turin, and about 100 K from Milan and Genoa.



Our clients usually use the house as a base to explore the region, doing day trips to various places.
The world famous Barolo and Barberesco wine districts are only 40 K away, and there are hundreds of vineyards and “enoteca's “ or wine shops, where tasting is always available.
Clients do day trips to the Lakes, the Chinque Terra, and visit the local villages where the real Italians live!
