Three Cliffs Bay is just a half hour journey from junction 42 off the M4 motorway. The Gower peninsular has much to offer visitors. The beaches and coastline are stunning, with over 50 unspoilt beaches, coves and bays many of which have coastal paths leading from one to the other. The beaches are varied, some remote and unchanged whilst others have cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea. Rhossilli and Three Cliffs Bay are not to be missed. In June 2006 the BBC Holidays at Home programme declared Three Cliffs Bay to be Britain's best beach, and a recent programme broadcast in the UK nominated the view over Three Cliffs bay for "Britain's Best View".

Mumbles is a pretty fishing village with its own twelfth century castle situated on a hill. Shops galore, ice cream parlours and interesting craft shops are also present, with many locally crafted souvnenirs for sale.
