Details of the Cottage

Set in the heart of the gently undulating French countryside of the South Vienne and below the historic regional city of Poitiers, lie the cluster of attractive stone built buildings known as La Logerie.

The cottage has been furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard and includes microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, English satellite TV, CD and DVD player. It also has its own terrace, patio furniture and barbecue.

Well equipped kitchen, lounge / diner with door to terrace, sofa bed and dining area. The double bedroom has an en suite shower and WC. This cottage has no steps / stairs, wide sliding door to bedroom and shower room, and low level light switches.

Available to all guests is a superb heated swimming pool measuring 12 metres by 6 metres, incorporating Roman steps and a solar shower. The pool is surrounded by a patio area where sun beds and parasols are provided.

From the pool terrace there are wonderful views of the stream, woodlands and countryside beyond. It is possible to fish in the stream, which runs through the grounds and also to stroll along its banks.

WIFI connectivity now available. Table tennis, darts, badminton, volleyball and boules are available at La Logerie as is a childrens play area with adventure fort, slide, swings, see-saw and sand-pit. Guests have access to the tennis court just a couple of kilometres away in Mauprevoir. It is possible to fish in the stream, which runs through the grounds.
