How to make my holiday rental property truly child-friendly?

Families with children is a big market when it comes to private holiday lettings, making sure your holiday home is truly child-friendly could increase your rentals significantly.

Inside the property, apart from providing the basics expected by families (cot, high chair, stair gates, socket covers, children’s toys, etc), items such as steriliser, hand blender, pushchair, potty and step-up stool will also be very welcomed.  

It reduces the number of toddler-related items your guests will have to bring themselves which is a big plus.  Making sure easy-to-break items are placed at higher levels and staircase bannister-free will also reduce the chance of accidents.  Being able to arrange babysitting service is another appealing selling point to parents.

In the outdoor, make sure the grounds are completely fenced-off.  If there is a swimming pool it should also have safety perimeter installed.  Ponds and steep steps should be avoided.  Outside toys such as a sandpit will provide hours of fun for kids and adults alike!
