Families may wish to venture to the mini-golf at Hidropark (4.6km). A paved walkway providing easy access leads from the town out to the farthest point of the beach, level with the lighthouse and is popular with joggers, dog walkers and cyclists. At the end of the walkway the beach curves back in land and becomes rather more rocky, rugged and exciting to explore. The main draw to the area is the award winning Club de Golf Alcanada which is home to a renowned golf academy as well as club house and restaurant offering Spanish and International cuisine set in the club's beautiful grounds with view out over the course and coastline.
