Details of the Apartment

Our lovely 2 bedroom apartment is close to the whitewashed village of Alcaucin in Andalusia, it has family-friendly activities, public transport in the village. Ferias,fiestas and local markets in the summer. We are 20 minutes from the Coastal town of Torre del Mar and Malaga airport is 50 minutes away. You’ll love it because of the super views, it is great for walkers and sightseeing and very near to Natural park. The apartment is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Alcaucin is on the border of the National Park which is easily accessed at the top of the village and can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The Park itself has many featured walks, a camp site, restaurant and barbecue areas. Alcaucin boasts several bar/restaurants most serving local fayre which are within walking distance of the apartment. There are also three mini markets, a bakery, post office, Town Hall Pharmacy and bank with cash machine. If you want to venture a bit further afield the next village Puenta Dom Manuel is a 7 minute drive back down the hill again, it has British supermarkets, a large butchers/delicatessen and beauty salon. Los Romanes is 15 minutes away and has lovely views over Lake Vinuela. The lake has non-motor sports activities over the summer months and is very popular with tourists and locals alike. The flat, which is on the 2nd floor, is accessed by a tiled entrance hall which continues throughout the communal areas.
