A three bedroom luxury townhouse on the beautiful Vila Dos Princeps development with 3 outdoor heated pools. The accommodation is tastefully furnished,in a contemporary style with two large balconies, which get the evening sun. Praia Del Rey is rated one of the top 20 golf courses in Europe. There is a five star Marriott hotel, tennis courts, surfing beaches and the Obidos lagoon minutes away. There are lots of great local restaurants nearby, as well as the clubhouse and Marriott. The medieval town of Obidos (15 mins)and its cobbled streets is lovely and from the surfing beaches of Peniche (10 mins) you can catch a boat to the Berlenga islands and scuba dive. Its a great family holiday, with tennis, golf and surfing lessons available for adults and children. The clubhouse also has a large family room, with pool table and a multiscreen TV. The aqua park at Peniche(10min drive), go karting at Portugals biggest track in Bombarral(20 mins) are both great fun. Lisbon (45 mins)is fantastic. Out & About Outside The house is on a beautifully landscaped development, and the downstairs terrace enjoys the evening sun. Garden furniture includes 2 sunbeds, 8 recliner chairs and a dining table along with a gas barbeque. Upstairs the master bedroom terrace also faces west and has table, large parasol and chairs. There are three large heated swimming pools to choose from, and toddler pools. They all have sunbeds and parasols. Coast/Beach Praia del Rey has a beautiful stretch of long sandy beach, (3 minute drive), which is good for surfing, NOTE: The sea has strong currents and is dangerous for swimmers. The Obidos lagoon, a 10 minute drive, is much calmer and walmer, and offers water sports. Note: There is a strong current where the sea flows into the lagoon. The sandy surfing beaches of Baleal and Peniche (15 minute drive) are both well known and offer lessons in surfing, kite or wind surfing, jet skiing and banana boats. Golf The house is situated on the fabulous Praia del Rey golf course, one of the finest in Portugal. The club house, first tee and driving range, are a 5 minute walk. Special golf packages are available upon request. Golf buggies can be hired. The course is fantastic and challenging, with breathtaking views of the Atlantic coast. Evidence of a Golf handicap is required to play the course, or a readiness to play card, which can be acquired from a pro.
