Villa La Commenda is located in the hills just east of the city of Arezzo, near the charming medieval town of Anghiari. Surrounded by large wood groves where all kinds of wildlife live: deer, pheasants, hares can often be seen. The green wood groves are broken up only by farmed fields and by the ginestre flowers which in late spring color the countryside yellow and intensely perfume the air. Formerly the property was a monastery for Camaldolesi monks, then a farmhouse and now restored, it has become a beautiful holiday villa, consisting of four buildings: the villa and 3 outbuildings, one of which is inhabited by the owner. It is surrounded by spacious garden areas full of flowers, where guests can relax in the cool shade, go for peaceful walks, sit around a table and enjoy dining outdoors, play table tennis or relax in a hammock. Slightly above the villa is the swimming pool (12 x 6, 1.50 m deep ) (01/05-30/09) with lighting and is well equipped with deck chairs, sun umbrellas and an outdoor shower.
