It is functional and only 2 km from the fishing village of Colonia de Sant Pere. Here you can go shopping or eat fresh fish in one of the many restaurants. Larger cities such as Artà, Manacor and resorts such as Porto Cristo and Cala Ratjada on the east coast are all great day trips to get to know the island.
