The living room boast a large comfy sofa in a flat screen TV and a cosy woodburner. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would expect to find in a home kitchen and there is an inside and outside dining table where you can enjoy the delights you cooked. There are three equally stunning bathrooms with marble and wood throughout and lovely showers. The outside area does not disappoint, with a fabulous veranda that houses the outdoor dining area. Chill out areas in the shade to curl up and read a book and sun loungers to relax and soak up the sun by the pool. The private pool has a built in massage option and is set in the well maintained garden with views of the trees and olive groves and even a lovely vegetable patch. And around 5km away you’ll find plenty more supermarkets, shops and even a famous market every Sunday morning, selling all kinds of organic products. Bodrum itself is an incredibly vibrant city that combines ancient sites and winding streets with lively markets, including the farmers’ markets, and boutique shops. Whether you’re after an original souvenir, trying the local produce or one of the signature hand-made rugs, you’re sure to find it here! Don’t miss the exquisite marina bursting with restaurants and bars and be sure to have a saunter around the city’s ancient tombs, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The ruins in Halicarnassus, Bodrum Amphitheatre and Bodrum Castle are all simply unmissable while you’re in the area, with epic views and an even more impressive architecture and history. This hilltop location is excellent for active days out, be it hiking or biking on the mountain bikes provided. What’s more – watersports fans will delight in a stay in this area, as there are countless Blue Flag beaches along the picturesque coastline nearby. You can charter a boat in many of the nearby marinas, or else try your hand at jet-skiing, sea kayaking, scuba diving or parasailing, or simply stick to the trusty snorkelling! The sublime Mediterranean climate, reaching 40°C every summer, with a water temperature of around 28°C in the Mediterranean Sea, really is perfect for a traditional day at the beach! The rich history of Turkey makes for an excellent holiday – castles and forts from the indigenous populations and later the Romans are in various states of ruin, while magnificent citadels await you in the outskirts of the cities, across the valleys and on the striking hilltops! The local cuisine is a fascinating mixture of typical Turkish fast food döner, elaborate mezze, quaint fish restaurants and even the Middle Eastern-inspired vegetarian and vegan treats from over the border!
