If you wish a holiday with sun, sea and relaxation in nature, this beautiful holiday home is really ideal! The "Casa dei Limoni" is located in the hills, only 2 km from Camaiore (shops of all kinds) and about 7 km from the beaches, which are reachable in about 10 minutes by car! Overlooking the surrounding countryside, this spacious property is the perfect destination for a family with children and four-legged friends, who will happily be running on large lawn in front of the house or playing in the shade of the trees, while you will be reading a good book or organizing a barbecue. In the garden there are areas equipped for al fresco dining. The house is pleasantly furnished and retains some typical features of Tuscan houses with wooden beams on the ceilings and terracotta floors. Versilia is the area of northern Tuscany, famous for its sea-promenade with its beautiful shops, wine bars and restaurants. However, the big highlights are the wide sandy beaches with well-organized bathing establishments and the Apuan Alps behind. Visit the small villages of the Apuan Alps, which can only be explored on foot or organize walks or hikes to admire breathtaking views. We recommend a trip to Torre del Lago Puccini (17 km), where Giacomo Puccini lived and composed his works. Here, between July and August, there is a prestigious festival featuring works by the composer. You will be able to admire his birth house, but also take guided tours through the Massaciuccoli Lake, with its WWF area. Do not forget that the nearby Carrara is a marble area that has attracted the most famous artists over the centuries: you should definitely visit its impressive extraction basins (Colonnata, Miseglia and Torano), where jeep tours are organized! Obviously, this area also has a rich gastronomic offer that combines the flavors of the sea and the mountains. In the surroundings of Camaiore, we recommend you try the "Scarpaccia", the "Seppie e Bietole" (fish dish with vegetables) or the rice-cake, whose recipe originates from Carrara but can be bought in the confectioneries of the entire Versilia. Access to the house via a 1 km long gravel road, which is not suitable for sports cars and must be used with care.
