Originally a Masseria, a fortified farmhouse typical of the Puglia region, Villa Ciottolo has been immaculately transformed into a resort-style holiday retreat. It was once a 4 star luxury hotel and now offers guests the combination of the privacy of a villa holiday while also still offering hotel-like services should the guests so choose to use them. Surrounded by olive groves and gardens in a secluded area just outside the culinary town of Ceglie Messapica, the villa offers complete privacy for a group of up to 18. Six bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are distributed throughout the main building and annex, built with authentic stone in traditional trulli style. The master is extra cozy, with its own living space, fireplace, and romantic Jacuzzi tub. The reading room, spacious living area, and TV room are all beautifully furnished and inviting, and the rustic, modernized kitchen is perfectly appointed to host the group. Ample sunlight will surely draw guests to the expansive sunbathing area with plush sofas and a large pool. Description On the first floor, climbing the ancient stairs of the farm, there are two of the bedrooms. These rooms have a balcony overlooking the vast olive grove on one side, and the lush garden on the other. The master bedroom has been built into authentic Trulli and also has a living area, fireplace and jacuzzi. The fourth bedroom is an annex with a majestic oak tree in the background; in the past, this building was the barn. The other two bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the main building, it can be accessed from inside of the building and from the garden; one of the two has a fireplace. The farm is surrounded by a large garden filled with olive trees and pomegranate trees. There is a sunbathing area, sun beds, umbrellas and sofas.This area is also perfect for hosting breakfasts or dinners with friends.
