Our fourth floor 2 bedroom Apartment comes with a communal rooftop pool and a designated underground parking space.
The apartment is quite spacious, and easily accommodates up to six people comfortably. It has 2 air conditioned bedrooms, as well as a large air conditioned living room (with sofa bed). It also has a separate fully equipped kitchen and the balcony even comes with a built in BBQ.
It's a perfect holiday home for families or couples or just groups of friends and you're just a few minutes from the two-mile long Praia Grande beach which has all the water sports and beach activities that you'd expect.
The beautiful Armacao de Pera beach and the resort's bars, cafes, restaurants and clubs, as well as all essential facilities such as ATMs, shops, supermarkets etc are all within a short walk of our 2 bedroom apartment.
For those into golf, there are plenty to choose from with over 20 courses with in half an hour of our apartment.
For those with children to entertain; there is plenty to choose from with the Dolphin's at Zoo Marine and the Slide & Splash water park a mere 10 minutes away.
Armação de Péra is a mix of slightly weather worn buildings and new, modern apartment blocks along the sea front, many being 10 to 12 storeys high. The 'old village' is at the eastern end by the fishermen's beach and is more typically Algarvean. It is here, on the beachfront that the remains of a 17th century fort still stand - built to defend the village from pirates and corsairs by a wealthy fishing boat owner. There is a chapel inside, dedicated to Santo Antonio, which is also 17th century.
The views of the coast from the fort are of the long, long stretch of golden sand which runs from the rocks and caves at the western end by Senhora da Rocha, to Praia de Gale (near to Albufeira) in the east.
The cobbled street on the corner of the hill opposite the whitewashed fort leads down into a network of little streets with a variety of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants.

A payment of 25% or £100 (€125), whichever is greater secures your booking. The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to your stay.
A refundable damage deposit of £150 (€175) is also to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. The deposit will be refunded approximately 1 week after departure subject to no damage.
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds and an approximate value in euros.
A 2nd week discount of 10% between May & September. A 2nd week discount of 20% between October & April.
Discounts also available for periods between 1 & 2 weeks (i.e. 10 days) or for periods over 2 weeks.
Bookings of less than 1 week in duration will be charged on a pro-rata basis.
Long term winter lets also available.
