Surrounding Area The nearest facilities (a bakery and café) are a mere 1 Km away, and the village centre (three café/restaurants and the medical centre) is 1,8Km away. 1,7 Km, by the large roundabout that provides access to the expressway and the motorway system, is a supermarket, café/bakery with cashpoint machine, a further café on the petrol station and a further couple of restaurants. The Levada do Norte passes just above the Village. With the many country walks available in the area, this makes Prazeres a perfect resort for walking in Madeira. A few minutes by car will take you to the resort town of Calheta, 9 Km from the Villa. With its man-made golden beaches, it is popular with tourists and locals alike. There is a beautiful marina and a good choice of bars and restaurants, a handful of small shops, a good branded supermarket, a bank and chemist. Funchal is an easy 45-minute drive away, and to the airport takes around 55 minutes. Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on the number of people you have registered and supplements applly should anyone join you for any length of time. A deposit is required to secure your reservation or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of 300€ is required on arrival, payable in cash. The minimum stay is 07 nights. Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent once you have paid your balance. You will be met at the villa on arrival and shown around.
