Listing description
Located in the Medieval village of Rivalto, Casa Baronetta is located on the ground floor of an old house which has been sympathetically refurbished in the old Tuscan style. The façade is stone with a tiled floor and chestnut beams supporting the ceiling. The apartment is comfortable, cosy and has its own independent entrance from Piazza Gramsci.
It is an ideal place for relaxing, walking through woods, olive groves and vineyards as well as archaeological excursions and artistic itineraries.
A hidden gem in the Tuscan rolling countryside, raised 343 metres above sea level, the little medieval village has stunning views down the Valdera valley. The village is surrounded by fertile soil that produces a range of superior foods and wine. The nearby fields are the host to vineyards, olive groves, fruit trees and cereals. The nodding heads of large sunflowers fill some of the fields in July/August. The view changes as the seasons change, being green and lush in spring through to a golden yellow in summer before becoming a blazing red colour in autumn.
The village is small, homely and very friendly, a tranquil, peaceful oasis of calm where people have a pace of life far slower than that of the larger towns and cities, a place where nobody worries much about locking their doors.
Nestled in green woodland, walking, cycling and observing wild life are on the door step. However within a 50 minute drive, Cities such as Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Voltera, Frienze as well as many beautiful beaches are within easy reach.
This holiday apartment in Chianni is pet / dog friendly.
