Details of the Villa

“At Villa Sirenusa it felt as though we had the whole coastline to ourselves. You'd certainly be hard pressed to find a more impressive panorama than the one we enjoyed from our garden.”Check out Mariella Frostrup's review of Villa Sirenusa For the simple fact that this may be one of the few villas on the Amalfi Coast with a private infinity pool, it's clear from the start that this holiday home is going to be pretty special. And who wouldn't want an infinity pool with the Mediterranean Sea sparkling away in front of their very eyes. The private swimming pool is set amidst plenty of lovely outdoor spaces so you can enjoy that incredible view. But if you prefer to enjoy the views from your sun lounger, hammock or comfy seating, take your pick. Well-manicured gardens often produce beautiful fruit and olive trees, an abundance of Mediterranean flowers and verdant hillsides all around. Take to the hammock with your book, or the huge sofa under its own gazebo. Station yourself at the outdoor kitchen to whip up a delicious al fresco lunch or evening supper overlooking the illuminated infinity pool, while the Amalfi Coast lights twinkle along the shoreline. And all the produce you need can be bought at the local wharf and market - fresh and seasonal - the Italian way! Enter Villa Sirenusa and discover elegant nautical interiors throughout the main living areas, but also a cosy atmosphere. With an open plan living and dining room, it's an inviting space to enjoy time with family and friends, looking out on to the incredible sea vistas through the floor to ceiling windows. The bedrooms, individually-styled, all feature lovely wooden floors and minimalist chic furnishings. There's a twin room and three doubles and two of the master suites share a terrace with hot tub. Yep! Now, there's a superb way to really unwind on your holiday and let's just say, the bathrooms are a showcase all on their own - grey marble, clean white lines and even a TV in one of them, so taking a shower has never been so glam. Villa Sirenusa is a real treat. Not only is the villa an aspirational holiday home to escape to, but the location is truly fantastic. It really doesn't get any more photogenic than the Amalfi Coast - with romantic Ravello up in the hills and whitewashed Positano village on your doorstep, you'll be spoilt for choice. Other highlights such as ambling around Sorrento, taking a day trip to the islands of Capri and Ischia, or venturing to the cinematic sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, make this a holiday you'll be telling people about for years to come. Just try not to tell too many people... #### Features Top Floor Living Area - Living room with Sky TV, Playstation 3 and a dining table with chairs - Large kitchen leading out on to the terrace with another dining area - Large double bedroom facing the sea - Bathroom with TV - Large bedroom with garden views Lower floor - Large bedroom with sea views, a TV and an en-suite bathroom featuring Jacuzzi bath and double basins - Bedroom with sea views, TV - Access to the terrace with hot tub Exterior - Beautifully manicured gardens - Heated infinity swimming pool - Two decks with sun beds and outdoor umbrellas - Terrace with dining area and lava stone bench built into a stone wall - Terrace with a new "Beachcomber Canada" hot tub , barbecue - Secluded relaxation areas clad in cliffs below #### Location Looking for a view that demands attention? Vistas that are postcard perfection? You're in luck - there's plenty of them in Campania - the stretch of coastline along the Tyrrhenian Sea in southern Italy. Pastel-hued villages cling to cliffs, spectacular panoramas of sun-dappled seas beg to be seen, decadent palaces and beautiful lemon groves, for which the region is renowned, abound. It's an eye-popping region, that's for sure. So, take your time ambling around Sorrento's Baroque and Renaissance centre, shop for limoncello or iconic lemon-motif ceramics, dine at one of the many delightful restaurants and bars, visit a Romanesque Church or just relax, soaking up the seductive coastal atmosphere. For a real show-stopper, head on over to the Amalfi Coast. As you navigate the 'road of a thousand bends' - surely one of the most picturesque drives you'll ever experience - discover pretty Positano featuring its majolica-tiled church and winding streets bursting with shops and cafes, romantic Ravello producing magnificent mountaintop views and Amalfi with its cluster of whitewashed buildings and lovely piazzas. Or, for all the culture vultures, why not head to Pompeii or Paestum for the day to visit the perfectly-preserved cities, which were engulfed by volcanic ashes when Mount Vesuvius erupted. An epic sight, and the tours are truly fantastic. Romantic, seductive and cinematic, a trip to this stunning region is one you'll be telling all your friends about for years to come...
