Details of the Villa

This large holiday home is located in a romantic side valley, about 20 km above Cortona, surrounded by wide oak forests. The former manor house consists of four apartments that are rented together. The bedrooms are over three floors, there is a large communal kitchen, living room and an outdoor kitchen to the sunny south side. In front of the house are a large terrace, barbecue and garden. A footpath leads to the pool area which is slightly above ( about 70 m from the house), with deck chairs and a beautiful view of the mountains. Also on the property: children's games, a trampoline, volleyball, bocce, badminton. You can take wonderful walks, hikes or bike tours along the historic Roman road directly from the house. In the picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona you can walk through the picturesque streets and alleys, enjoy views up to Lake Trasimeno and watch the hustle and bustle in front of one of the numerous bars and wine bars. Chic clothing and leather goods, wines and local specialties are available here in many places. You shouldn't miss the Etruscan Museum and a walk up to the fortress with unique views. The nearby Franciscan monastery Le Celle is a beautiful, romantic place of reflection (18 km). Other destinations: Lake Trasimeno with its sandy beaches and small islands (40 km). In Montepulciano (50 km) you should try and purchase the famous wine Rosso di Montepulciano; the charming Renaissance town of Pienza (60 km) with a breathtaking view of the unique Orcia Valley will remain in your memory. But a visit to the Umbrian Città di Castello (25 km) is also worthwhile! Arezzo (50 km) and Siena (100 km) with their beautiful historic old towns as well as the Umbrian capital Perugia (70 km) can all be reached within an hour's drive.
