Details of the Villa

Villa Claddagh has the wow factor from the moment you enter. From the stunning pool and gardens to the beautifully finished interior you'll getting the feeling of being in paradise on the Turkish turquoise coast. From the balcony, you have great views of the ancient Lycian rock tombs on the right side, and the Kaunos Acropolis on the left, including a nearby storks nest for the kids. You can also see Radar hill from the garden. Downstairs the villa has an opening plan living area, a kitchen, a twin bedroom and a small bathroom. Upstairs has a twin bedroom, a double bedroom, the master bedroom with en suite, a separate family bathroom and a magnificent balcony. The surrounding area is peaceful but it's still only a 5 minute stroll from the main restaurants and shops. The Dalyan River is just a short 3 minute walk away, and we're just 5 minutes from the local children's park, where parents can relax with a coffee whilst the children burn off some energy. The villa comes with all of the mod cons such as wifi, over, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, washing machine, aircon, and a HD TV with over 400 HD movies. Outside, the private pool is 35 square metres with a 5 square metre enclosed toddler's pool. The main pool is 1.5 metres deep and the toddlers pool is 0.5 metres. Close by the pool there is a stone BBQ, a shower and a Turkish cushioned shaded seating area (also known as a Kösk). There are extensive gardens and fruit trees surrounding the villa. There are 6 cushioned sun loungers and 3 pool tables. On the terrace there is a large table with 6 cushioned chairs. On the upstairs balcony there is a small table with 2 cushioned chairs. The villa has a washing line at the rear. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are included. You'll also get a full cleaning service when staying for more than 8 consecutive nights. Coast/Beach: The beach at Dalyan is shared by tourists and the famous loggerhead turtles. The tourist part of the beach is reached by taking one of the many public boats from the centre of town. The journey takes about 30 minutes and goes through the Dalyan Delta, which has some of the most stunning scenery in Turkey, including views of the the ancient city of Kaunos, which dates back to the 10th century BC. Travel: The nearest airport is Dalaman which is 25-30 minutes away by bus or taxi. The town of Dalyan is pretty small and everything is within easy walking distance so car hire is not necessary. There are plenty of river boats, taxis and buses to take you to the beach or to any of the nearby towns. Distances: The market towns of Koycegiz and Ortaca are a short distance from Dalyan by bus. Koycegiz is also accessible by river boat through Koycegiz lake. The larger resorts of Fethiye and Olu Deniz are a 50 minute drive away. Marmaris is about 75 minutes drive. Rhodes is also accessible by ferry from Marmaris. Further Details: Dalyan town itself is compact stretching only two miles in any direction from the centre and is framed by a glorious backdrop of pine clad mountains in every direction. The flatness of town make it a perfect place for walking with children and the elderly and a delight to cycle around. For more active holidaymakers there are forests and hiking hills all within walking distance. Dalyan is also distinguished by the lack of package tourists though there are still plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. If you can’t find the items you want in the shops there is an excellent local market on Saturdays. Booking Payment • A non-refundable deposit of 25% per week is payable on booking. • Balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival. • You can pay into our UK bank account. Changeover Day • The earliest check in time is 15:00 on the day of arrival. • The latest check out time is 12:00 noon on the day of departure. • Do let us know your intended check in and check out time when enquiring for availability. • We can be flexible if other bookings permit. Transfers • 0-4 people - £60 return from Dalaman airport. • 5-8 people - £80 return from Dalaman airport.
