Details of the Apartment

The street has been used in several period dramas due to its much charm and character and possesses many interesting shops and boutiques worthy of a visit. The area is scattered with great restaurants bistros and cafes. From Princes Street you can catch buses to all parts of the city and to and from the airport. Both train stations into the capital are about 10 minutes walk making this an ideal base to explore Edinburgh.

For those here on business, it's a short walk to the financial centre and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

A car isn't necessary as most of the main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance and with the amount of road works going on in Edinburgh it's a good idea to not bring one. On street parking is available but costly in the city centre. A multi storey car park with parking at more reasonable rates is situated 5 minutes walk away in the shadow of the castle.

The property is stylishly furnished and appointed to a high standard retaining some of the original Georgian character of the building. Located on the first floor and the accommodation comprises: shared entrance, stone stair, large sitting room with kitchen and dining area, 2 double bedrooms, newly fitted bathroom with shower over the bath. The bedrooms can be altered to suit your sleeping requirements both rooms having 2 single beds which can be combined to form one super kingsize bed. There are also a fold down bed available so the apartment can sleep 5.

Large open plan living room kitchen with 2 windows to the north giving ample daylight and views on to this lovely street. There are 2 comfortable red leather sofa, TV and DVD with a selections of films. Willilam Street has several excellent clothes shops and the street has often be used as a film set because so many of the buildings have changed little on the outside since they were built around 1750.
