Details of the Apartment

This well located, fully air-conditioned, holiday apartment with its sea views is very close to amenities and is near to one of the best beaches Estepona has to offer - Playa del Cristo. Playa del Cristo (or Bahía del Cristo as it is sometimes known) has very shallow water and soft sand. There are also two chiringuitos here offering food and drinks during the day. The property is located within a front line community (Residencial Puerto Estepona) and is just a seven or eight minute walk to the marina of Estepona. Here you’ll find supermarkets, a wide selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. A little further on is the beach of Playa la Rada, again with its beach bars selling drinks, food and offering sun loungers and parasol hire. Walking further along the Paseo Marítimo (or promenade) you’ll come to the traditional old town of Estepona with its pretty squares and cobbled streets. Inside the well appointed apartment, you’ll find the modern style kitchen (with washing machine) next to the dining area for four, and then the lounge area with its two comfortable sofas, flat screen television with an international streaming package with premium channels and high-speed fibre optic internet access. The good size terrace has a dining area for four people and the views towards the Mediterranean sea and Estepona harbour, with its yacht and pleasure craft. You can take boat excursions from here too. The bedroom offers a double bed with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom has a bath with over-head shower, hand basin, bidet and WC. The complex has two swimming pools - which are fenced for security – a large general pool and next to it a shallower children’s pool. From the pools you have direct views over the harbour towards Gibraltar and the Mediterranean. Car hire is definitely not required with this property as everything is so close. This air conditioned holiday apartment is located on the second floor in one of the prominent urbanisations (Residencial Puerto Estepona) which is at the west side of Estepona port. This is one of the more quiet locations in the port, as most of the bars/cafes etc are far enough away not to be heard. The port is one of the main tourist destinations that people head for when taking a holiday in Estepona due to its close proximity to many restaurants, supermarkets, bars, beaches, coffee shops etc – these are all within a seven to eight minute walk. Estepona town, with its pretty squares and narrow streets is easily walked to from the harbour along the wonderful promenade. In the old town head for Calle Real to find some authentic tapas and then to Plaza de las Flores with its colourful planting and cafes with terraces for people watching! Estepona also has the Orchid house located on La Terraza, which is really worth a visit. If you are interested in theatre, Estepona boasts Principe Felipe auditorium, which offers music, plays and traditional Spanish flamenco – check the boards in town to see what is on! From the apartment, it is easy to take day trips to some of the larger towns and cities in Andalucia – Granada with the Alhambra palace, Seville – the main city in Andalucia, or Malaga with the Picasso museum... and don’t forget a visit to Gibraltar too – duty free shopping and an enviable history! All in all, this is a wonderfully located apartment for local amenities and for sightseeing! Seafront Estepona Port near restaurants and cafes In accordance with Spanish law, we require passport or national ID card for each person in the group of 16 years of age or older. You may not be allowed to check into the property until after the earliest arrival time given and that you must vacate the property by 11am. This is to provide the cleaners time to prepare the property. Normally, however, you are able to drop your bags after 11am when there is a same day change, however, you must accept that the cleaning procedure may not have been completed and you might need to come back later. If the property hasn´t a same day changeover then you can normally arrive after 12 noon. It is important that you click on the link we provide and give us your flight details so that we can do our best to have the property prepared for you. Please don´t send these by email as it is easy for you to enter the details yourself. We hire out many items such as cots, high chairs, extra beds where available. Please request them at the time of booking, if possible. Fireplaces are not allowed to be used in any property due to insurance requirements and obvious risk.
