Experience the "Aaaaaah Moment": After the long trip and the stop for supplies, you pull into the driveway, unload and open the folding wood doors to miles of empty beach and blue ocean as far as the eye can see. A sigh escapes: "Aaaaah." The waves are a like a huge organic movie screen; you sit on the terrace or in the hammock, stare at the water for hours and let the tension melt away. Mornings bring roseate spoonbills and other tropical birds to the lagoon; volunteers may be releasing baby sea turtles back to sea. Afternoons call doves and cardinals to nest, bearded iguanas look for a sunny rock to siesta. Evenings are fabulous for star gazing or simply walking the beach, where it is not unusual to encounter a nesting sea turtle. The beauty and wonder of mother nature is alive and abundant.

Buena Vista is located on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, approximately 20 miles north of the popular vacation towns of Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa and 5 miles south of Troncones, a popular surfing destination. Casa Rosalinda is situated approx. 2 km from the village of Buena Vista. It is a spectacular, "off the beaten track" beach and feels like your own private paradise. With so much development on Mexico's Pacific Coast, Playa Buena Vista is a reminder of the old days. There are a few small "snack" stores in the village but it is best to stock up on food at one of Zihuatanejo's large grocery stores before you arrive.
From ZIH international airport, it is a straight shot on Highway 200 to Buena Vista (approx. 30 miles). Taxis are available, but dear. A car is recommended. You will be met in Buena Vista and escorted to the property. Our manager can help with fishing, horseback riding, waterfall tours, etc., or you may find that relaxing is all you need to do.
