Good location for exploring the Cinque Terre area, by car, by sea (daily ferry connection from Levanto) or on foot on one of the many trails through the Mediterranean maquis. The picturesque coastal village of Portovenere, the pearl of the Gulf of Poets with its ancient castle and the church of San Pietro built on the cliff is definitely worth a visit. Access to the house via an unpaved pedestrian path of 100 m.
