Concealed in hills between Massa Lubrense and Sorrento, Casa Lea enjoys the beautiful Sorrento sunsets from a prime coastal position. This former farmhouse and comprising of three stunning apartments, with a total of seven bedrooms, offering you a spectacular pool and terrace with views of the sea and the Island of Capri. The main house and its adjacent barns are set among olive and citrus trees, occupying two terraced levels of land on the marine protected stretch of coast, Punta Campanella. Suitable for up to 13 guests, Casa Lea is great for those outdoor gathering occasions, with the spacious patio and shaded terrace perfect for enjoying a convivial barbecue, dinner or impromptu drinks. From May to September, you can make use of a 11m x 5m swimming pool, while a solarium with sun loungers and parasols is available all year-round. Extensive lawns are covered by fragrant flowers and the gnarled old trees which have stood on the farm for centuries. The villa's apartment configuration makes it ideal for couples or families holidaying together, yet wanting to maintain an element of independence. It also means you get three of pretty much everything, with each apartment featuring its attractive living area, kitchen and bathroom. The largest of the apartments contain a double, twin and single bedroom, while the remaining two offer a double and a twin each. Incredible panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples sweep around the property, taking in the nearby islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri. You are just 2km from the beautiful beaches of Massa Lubrense, a town with a fascinating legend attached and some near-legendary restaurants too. The other gems of the peninsula, including Positano and Sorrento itself, are an easy drive from Casa Lea, offering you the chance to get to know this enchanting area as far more than just a holiday destination. It attracts many visitors, but its Old Town remains as enchanting as ever, with colourful and central Piazza Tasso as good a place as any to get your bearings and enjoy a real cup of Italian coffee. The clear turquoise waters and golden beaches are another excellent reason to visit Sorrento, along with its many cultural offerings – be they musical or cinematic events, or museums keeping the city's long and eventful history alive. All sorts of tours and excursions are available to give you the full Sorrento experience, to take you further afield to the islands of Capri and Ischia, or see Vesuvius or its near neighbour, Naples. The wider area has yet more to inspire you, with the beautiful beaches and bays of the Amalfi Coast as numerous as they are delightful – those of nearby Marina di Puolo and Massa Lubrense, the legendary ‘Land of Sirens', are surely worth a trip.
