On the ground floor, this home has a cosy sitting room with a large sofa, a big TV, old fireplace and everything you’d need for a relaxed evening watching TV with friends or family or reading a book. The classical furniture and the lovely Victorian window make this the home’s best communal space, the hardwood floor, oil paintings and little nooks round up the ensemble. One of the sofa can also be converted into a sofa bed, comfortably sleeping 2 guests. The home’s dining room is located right next to the sitting room and offers not only enough space for all your guests but also a great design and lots of light coming through the beautiful windows. The kitchen, adjacent to the dining room benefits from so much natural light also and offers a fully functioning, redecorated workplace, classic wood furniture and a big English sink. It also gives a great view of the outside. All the 4 bedrooms are of a good size and have comfortable mattresses, one with a king size bed, two with double beds, and one with 2 single beds. The home comes with 2 clean and neat bathrooms, both with beautiful bathtubs. The home also offers high-speed WiFi and space to work, should you need or want to get some work done while there. The home also comes with a beautiful and secluded garden, ideal to enjoy a tea or coffee in the morning or a drink after a long day of exploring Oxford. You’ll have access to the home at all times. Because the home comes with a key box, you’ll be able to check in any time after 3pm, but please be mindful of noise after 10pm. Right in the heart of Oxford only moments away from the Oxford University Natural History Museum, plenty of colleges and more, yet it feels like your far away from the hustle and bustle. The University Press, many Colleges, cafes, restaurants and bars & pubs are in walking distance and the home is close to beautiful green spaces, this home is the perfect location for friends or family. The centre of Oxford is walking distance and you will be spoilt for choice where to look with Oxfords ancient heritage and beautiful academic buildings. You’re also never too far from Oxford’s great nightlife. Given the location of the home, most of Oxford's centre is in walking distance or only a very short drive away. You’ll also be able to hail a taxi or use Uber to get around. The home is spread across multiple levels and guests who have difficulties with stairs may find it hard to access the whole home. It’s worth noting that this home has rooms on the lower ground floor, so you might find these rooms darker than expected (perfect if you like darkness when sleeping, though!). Travel cots can be provided upon request but guests will have to bring their own linens. Please, no parties or smoking. Please be respectful of the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
