At the guests’ disposal a beautiful, covered and equipped terrace where they can enjoy their outdoor dinners with view over the typical Tuscan wine yards and olive groves. The position of the house is ideal for a day trip to the numerous hamlets and cities of art in the surroundings as for instance San Gimignano, an UNESCO world heritage, with its well maintained historical center and the characteristic towers, or Volterra with its Etruscan rests and a beautiful necropolis. In Siena don’t miss to visit the cathedral and the marvelous Piazza del Campo where twice a year, July 2rd. and August 16th, the medieval horse race, called “Il Palio”, takes place. Florence expects you with its beautiful historical center and the cathedral, the David of Michelangelo, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and numerous antique places and monuments. Those among you who appreciate the local food and the excellent Tuscan wines will be happy to do some wine tasting in the wine cellars all around and enjoy a dinner in a characteristic Tuscan Trattoria or restaurant. At abt. 47 km distance you will find Pisa with its baptistery and the famous leaning tower and at 52 km distance the small city of art of Lucca with its perfectly preserved enclosure walls.
